DIAVENA successfully passed a social audit for SMETA certification

In early 2022, DIAVENA OOD successfully passed the world’s leading 2-Pillar SMETA version 6.1 social audit. The audit was conducted by the international company RINA, which is a certified SMETA auditor. SMETA, the most widely used ethical audit format worldwide, is based on the conventions of the International Labor Organization and relevant local laws and covers all aspects of responsible business practice. SMETA (Sedex Members’ Ethical Trade Audit) reports are published in the SEDEX system, which ensures transparency and effective information sharing and will certainly give greater confidence to DIAVENA’s clients. The two pillars mandatory for every SMETA audit are labor standards and health and safety at work. 2-Pillar SMETA version 6.1 also contains the additional elements – recruitment practices, right to work, subcontracting and home work, and abridged environmental assessment.
